ASNAPP organizes regional and national conferences and awareness creation campaigns to enhance the visibility of the natural plant products industry. ASNAPP also engages various government institutions to ensure a holistic approach towards the development of the industry. This is done by participating in and leading various agricultural policy formulation discussions and work groups.
ASNAPP features prominently in the media on topical issues concerning the natural plant products (NPP) and horticultural sub-sectors. It has also come out with a quarterly newsletter that is distributed to its partners as well as key stakeholders in the industry. These activities are done to increase the level of awareness of lesser-known species but with great potential for value addition and commercialization.
